The Swiss Watch:

A watch may use the markings “Swiss Made” or “Swiss” only if it is truly Swiss. A watch may be considered Swiss if:

The movement is Swiss.

The movement is cased within Switzerland.

The Manufacturer does final Inspection in Switzerland

The Swiss Movement:

A Swiss watch must use a Swiss movement. To consider the movement Swiss, it must meet the following criteria:

The movement must be assembled in Switzerland.

The Manufacturer must inspect the movement in Switzerland.

50% of the total value must be comprised of Swiss manufactured components. The cost to assemble is not part of this total.
